I have always loved the process of experimenting and looking at the world from as many angles as possible. I find inspiration everywhere I look, especially the everyday glimpses of nature. I often find inspiration in the colors and composition of a branch and a bird or the intricate pattens of the earth in the rocks we dig up in our back yard. Inevitably this filters down into my projects. Working with mixed media from watercolor, pencils and acrylic to photography and digital art, my work is about the beauty of simple perspectives in the everyday.  I strive to bring an alternate view and consideration of unique compositions found in otherwise dismissed glimpses of nature and life. 

 

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today's world and tell your unique story. You must bring your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. This is why I started R.Dorr Creative; to support my clients and help bring their vision and their story to life.

 

I am the adult who is still building the sand castle, lego structure or craft long after the kids have lost interest. Making and creating are just things my soul needs to do. I am thrilled to be able to share that with others.
